Our Wines
Dry Whites:
2007 Chardonnay (With oak) In 2007 we lost 80% of our grapes due to a spring freeze. Because of this we decided to bring in grapes from outside Missouri for the first time. The grapes for this wine came from a beautiful vineyard in Lake County, California. This is a very fruity wine with a touch of oak. $ 24.00
2007 Chardonnay (No oak) This grape is also from they vineyard in Lake County, California. Bright with a burst of citrus. Great with seafood. $ 24.00
Dry Reds::
2006 Joie de Riviere A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec. This wine is fruitier than the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc also with greater nuances. $24.00
2006 Cabernet Franc This wine has the typical characteristics of bell pepper, mint, and herbs. This is a rich wine. $24.00
2006 Cabernet Sauvignon A rich and complex Missouri Cabernet with dark fruits,moderate oak,and thick tannins. Still needs time in the bottle but would be good now for fans of young Cab. $24.00
2006 Refosco A beautifully colored wine with good acidity,black cherry, and gripping tannins. Definitely needs time in the bottle. $30.00
2007 Chambourcin Our 2006 is very similar to a medium bodied Pinot Noir. We have blended in 15% Cabernet Franc for more body and tannin. A River Ridge staff favorite! $20.00
2006 Cynthiana The Cynthiana (also known as Norton) is herbal and earthy and great with wild game and other hearty dishes. Aged in French oak for one year. $25.00
Semi-Dry Wines:
10 Spot - A semi-dry Cardonnay. $10.00.
Lucky Dog - A semi-dry white wine from the Vignoles grape. Named after our famous winery dog. Water color label of Lucky by Eddie Stuart. $12.00
Traminette - A spicy and floral semi-dry wine. $12.00.
Nooner- This semi-dry white is a blend of Vignoles and Seyval with a rich finish. Perfect for your mid-day meal. We have a lot of fun with this wine. Our best selling gift shop item is our T-shirt "I had a Nooner at River Ridge Winery". $12.00
Rose - Similar to a white Zinfandel and one of our best sellers. $12.00
Sweet Wines:
Dessert Vignoles This late harvest Vignoles pairs well with cheesecake. 375ml $15.00
Dessert Chambourcin One of the few dessert red wines. This wine is remeniscent of cherries and is wonderful with anything chocolate. 375ml $15.00
Dessert Traminette A sweet and fragrant dessert wine. Great with apple pie. $ 15.00

1999 Hahn Chambourcin A dark and rich wine from a great vintage ready to drink now. $30.00
2000 Hahn Chambourcin Medium bodied wine with flavors of dried cherries, silky and balanced. $25.00
2001 Hahn Chambourcin A nose reminiscent of a pinot noir. Good fruit and elegant, a little heavier than the 2000. $27.00
2002 Hahn Chambourcin The 2002 is a little on the earthy side with some dark fruit flavors, ready to drink now. $23.00
2003 Hahn Chambourcin The last vintage from this vineyard. A rich wine with lots of depth and character. $30.00
2000 Cloister Chambourcin A beautifully colored wine that would be great with pasta or pork. Medium bodied and elegant. $27.00
2002 Cloister Chambourcin One of our favorite vintages from this vineyard. similar to an aged pinot noir. $27.00
2000 Cynthiana Velvety smooth with cinnamon and nutmeg flavors. Great with BBQ or wild game. $30.00
2001 Cynthiana Deep reddish-brown in color with cinnamon spice on the nose. Very polished on the palate, enjoy now. $27.00
2002 Cynthiana A nice ruby color and still bright on the palate. $27.00
2004 Cynthiana Extremely dark in color with baking spices filling the glass. The acid in this wine is a bit higher and is enjoyable now but will get better with age. $27.00
2003 Norton The difference between our Cynthiana and Norton is the oak. This is the only wine we use Missouri white oak on. 2003 was a great growing season that led to ripe fruit and excellent wine. $30.00
2001 Joie de Riviere A light bodied wine with bright fruit and good acidity. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. $30.00
2002 Joie de Riviere Cedar, earth, and black cherry on the nose. A heavier wine than the 2001 and has some tannin on the finish. Great with red meat.$30.00
2001 Syrah Very light in color with flavors of fresh strawberries. A great summer red for fans of dry rose'. $23.00
2003 Syrah Beautiful red color with red currant on the nose. A nice light bodied Syrah. $27.00
2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Our first varietal bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon, has layered flavors of oak and allspice. $30.00
